1. Information we collect
When you create a PavementIQ account, we collect your name, email address, and company information. When you use the app, we collect inspection data you enter including property addresses, photos, notes, measurements, and PASER scores. We also collect standard usage logs including pages visited and features used.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to provide and improve the PavementIQ service, send account-related notifications, and respond to support requests. We do not use your inspection data to train AI models. We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. AI processing
When you use AI features (photo analysis, voice notes, report generation), your photos and text are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI via their API. This processing is subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy . Photos and notes are not stored by Anthropic beyond the processing request.
4. Data storage and security
Your data is stored in encrypted PostgreSQL databases. Photos are stored in secure cloud storage with encrypted connections. We use industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit. We implement access controls so only authorized personnel can access production data.
5. Client share links
When you share an inspection report via a share link, the recipient can view the report without creating an account. Internal notes marked "Team only" are never included in share links or PDF exports. Share links can be revoked at any time from the inspection settings.
6. HubSpot integration
If you connect HubSpot, your HubSpot Private App Token is stored encrypted in our database. Inspection data pushed to HubSpot is subject to HubSpot's privacy policy. We only send data you explicitly push — no automatic background syncing occurs.
7. Data deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. All inspection data, photos, and personal information will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
