Getting started
Create your account
Sign up at pavement-iq.com — no credit card required. You get a 14-day Premium trial automatically.
Create an Account and Location
Go to Accounts → New Account to set up your client. Then create a Location with the property address. The map will center on the property automatically.
Start your first inspection
Go to Inspections → New Inspection. Choose "Inspect This Location" to use GPS, or enter the address manually. The satellite map loads instantly.
Connect HubSpot (optional)
Go to Settings → Integrations → HubSpot. Paste your Private App Token and tap Test Connection. Once connected, you can push inspections to HubSpot with one tap.
Running inspections
Pins, Lines, and Areas
Use the toolbar on the left of the map. Pin marks a specific defect point (pothole, catch basin). Line draws a measurement along curbing, cracks, or striping. Area draws a polygon to measure square footage of a pavement section.
AI Photo Analysis
After adding a photo to a pin/line/area, the green AI Tools block appears at the top of the panel. Tap Analyze Photo to get an instant PASER score, distress classification, and repair recommendation. Tap Apply AI findings to save to the inspection.
Voice Notes
Tap Voice Notes in the AI Tools block and speak your observations. AI structures them into client notes, internal notes, dimensions, and severity automatically. Review and tap Apply AI Notes to save.
Area cutouts
After drawing an area, tap Draw Cutout / Exclusion Zone to subtract landscape islands, buildings, or sidewalks from the measurement. The net square footage updates automatically.
Reports & sharing
Generate AI Report
On the Report page, tap AI Report to generate an executive summary and repair recommendations powered by Trained AI. The report uses all inspection elements, PASER scores, and AI photo analysis results.
Export PDF
Tap Export PDF to download a professional report with your branding (Premium+). Free plans get a PavementIQ-watermarked PDF.
Share with client
Tap Share to generate a unique link to a live client portal. The client sees the full report — PASER score, photos, AI findings, measurements — without needing to log in. Internal notes are never visible on the share link.
Push to HubSpot
Tap the orange HS Push button to create a Company, Contact, and Deal in HubSpot from the inspection data. The PASER score and report link attach automatically to the deal.
